PRIDE: Kids Training Program

Pride is Fit to Fight®’s exclusive kids training program. This program provides an enriching, safe and unique martial arts experience designed solely for children. Pride offers kids an exciting and varied curriculum, exposing kids to Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Krav Maga, sports conditioning and more! This program allows kids to be well-rounded martial artists and community members. Pride is based on the coming together of the emotional and physical needs that are actually manifest in the lives of our children today as opposed to watered down promises often mistakenly associated with Traditional Martial Arts, that are so rarely delivered.

Pride Junior

Focusing on ages 4-7, this program develops the necessary movements and basic skills to build confidence, control, teamwork, integrity and more. While self-defense through kickboxing and jiu-jitsu is learned, the primary emphasis is on having the confidence, understanding of self-worth, and decision making skills to avoid conflict.

At this level, basic kickboxing and groundwork is taught at a minimal level of contact. Games are utilized to enhance learning and develop skills that will be more apparent as they mature and continue in their journey.

PRIDE for Kids - SPARology®

PRIDE students 8 and up are encouraged to explore the various styles that incorporate self-defense, such as the SPARology® program. An understanding of various ranges from striking to clinching and takedown sensitivity are developed. Each students path and ability level will be different, but the result of a cyclical training program and energy focused system results in well-rounded development throughout the program.

PRIDE for Kids - Jiu Jitsu

Similar to SPARology®, the no-gi Jiu Jitsu element of our PRIDE program serves to teach students about the energy and principles of ground fighting. While it’s viewed on a self-defense focused platform, learning is encouraged through competition and rolling.
